Defiant is a 1989 Bayfield 36, a classic Canadian-built blue water cruiser. This site documents her refit and restoration, and will eventually serve as a public voyage log as she returns to the water.

We have lived aboard Defiant since her purchase in September of 2025, working to make her equal parts seaworthy and a worthy home.
